This makes a great breakfast, quick lunch or post-run snack. It’s packed with healthy fats and protein, tastes great, and with only four ingredients you can knock these up in no time.
Ingredients (serves 2)
- item 4 slices of sourdough bread
- item 2 ripe avocados
- item Juice of 1 lime
- item Tribe Fire Seeds
Preheat the oven to 150°C. Slice the sourdough bread in thick chunks: you don’t have to hold back as sourdough is much more easily digested than other breads, free from many chemicals typically used in processed bread.
Place the slices of bread onto a baking tray and bake for 5 minutes or until golden.
Removed a quarter of the avocado onto each slice, and using a fork, mash and spread the avocado evenly to cover them. Per two slices, squeeze over the juice of ½ a lime.
With the remaining avocado, cut slices of about 1cm thick and lay over the mashed avocado.
Season well with salt, pepper and olive oil, and top with Tribe Fire Seeds
