Tom, a former British Army Captain, made an incredible debut on the Ultra Trail Running scene when he came 3rd in 2017 in the gruelling 251km Marathon des Sables (which he entered after a bet in the pub)! An interview with Hillary Allen (an incredibly inspiring and positive ultra-marathon runner). Hillary has an amazing story about survival - she fell 150ft off the side of a mountain while racing in Norway and was very lucky to survive. This podcast delves into why, and how, ultra athletes, mountaineers and explorers do what they do. This Special episode is with Jasmin Paris, the overall winner of the 2019 Montane Spine Race (268 miles across the Pennine Way, over some of the most uncompromising landscape in Britain...in Winter)!
