Tribe for Good Charity Nominations
We asked our Tribe community to nominate a UK-registered charities to support in Q1 2016. Below the members who nominated the shortlisted charities explain why the Tribe should choose that charity:
Sport 4 Life UK (nominated by Tribe member Chris)
“The approach taken by Sport 4 Life provides an imaginative, yet deceptively simple, solution. S4L uses the popular activity of sport as a ‘hook’ to make their programmes interactive, fun and appealing. As a result, they deliver effective education, employment, and personal development programmes to young people for whom mainstream education has been disengaging and therefore create a real tangible impact on the communities in which they operate”.

Wood Green Animal Shelter (nominated by Tribe member Martha)
“You don’t have to be cute and furry to be rescued by Wood Green – they take in unwanted and abandoned animals regardless of species! They help find them secure, loving homes then educate and provide on-going support for those adopting. They don’t have celebrity endorsement and so sometimes struggle to find enough money for medical care for their animals. They are legends with huge hearts and they deserve a lot of love publicity (and money!)”

Depaul UK (nominated by Tribe member Zoe)
“Depaul UK works with extremely disadvantaged young people who struggle with poverty, long-term unemployment and homelessness. It provides support for young people leaving care and the prison system in order to stop them having to sleep rough. They’re a relatively small charity, but they do an enormous amount of work helping to keep young people off the streets”
