The Challenge
This Summer, the TRIBE community will lead more than 200 nationwide challenges - runs, hikes, bike rides and adventures - to explore the every day and experience great outdoors. Our Mission; To explore the great outdoors and raise £20,000 to support TRIBE Freedom Foundation to end modern slavery in the UK.
We are looking for members of the TRIBE community to be ambassadors to lead the events. This is the deal:
- You rally your local tribe (ideally 15 - 20 people, whether it's your friends, colleagues, run club etc.) for your own adventure challenge (run, cycle, hike, adventure or otherwise).
- You decide the date, meeting point, route and logistics.
- We create a 100% bespoke website for your event - check it out here - so people can register.
- We send you enough TRIBE products for all participants and your own TRIBE Tee - just let us know which size!
All events raising funds and awareness for the TRIBE Freedom Foundation to fight modern slavery.

Logistics
Can I choose any date/time in the Summer to lead the event?
Yes - you can choose any date/time (from May-August) that works for you!
What should I think about when finding a location/meeting point for my event?
It's good to think about finding an awesome place that is very accessible and has space to store bags during the run!
Registration
How do people sign up for my event?
TRIBE will create a bespoke website for you - check it out here, which you can share with your friends, family, work colleagues, club members etc. This will be linked to your own JustGiving page, where participants will make their registration donation (minimum £14) to TRIBE Freedom Foundation.
How do I set up my JustGiving page?
It takes just five minutes maximum:
- Head to: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/tribe-force-of-nature
- Click the ‘Start fundraising’ button, Select ‘Organised Event’, Scroll down to ‘Add your own’, Add your event name and date etc.
- Once the page is live, head to the ‘Edit your page’ tab to update the page details. You can edit the page photo, title, add your event page URL and any other copy to tailor it to your event! We’ve left some generic copy for the moment.
Make sure you make it clear that people need to tick the box 'Yes please, opt me in' to emails from TRIBE Freedom Foundation so we can contact them to claim their TRIBE Tee race entry package!
What do participants receive for entering the TRIBE Force of Nature Challenge?
All participants will receive:
- Force of Nature Event Entry - led by the TRIBE Force of Nature ambassador team
- Two TRIBE Bars - distributed by ambassadors on the day
- Classic TRIBE Tee (worth £20) - to be claimed online with the unique code from TRIBE
How do I know who has signed up for my event?
It’s a good idea to keep track of who has signed up for your event so you can keep them updated with event details and any other updates! You can find out the email addresses of everyone who has donated to your page here.
Just make sure to tell everyone to click the box which says ‘I’m happy to share my contact details with …’ when they complete their registration donation.
TRIBE Product and Merch
How will I receive the TRIBE bars for my event?
We will send out your TRIBE bars to the delivery address you provided, four working days before your event to make sure they arrive in plenty of time. The number of bars will be based on the number of registration donations you have received on your JustGiving page. If you are expecting a large number of late entries who may not be signed up by this point give us a shout and we’ll see what we can do :)
How will participants recieve their TRIBE tee?
To make sure that everyone receives their free TRIBE tee in the correct size we will send participants a code to redeem their T-shirt via the TRIBE website! In order to recieve the code participants must remember to tick the box which says ‘Yes please, opt me in’ to emails from TRIBE Freedom Foundation. Make sure you let everyone know!
Will the ambassadors receive free TRIBE merch?
Yes, all event leaders with groups over six will receive a FREE TRIBE t-shirt. Please enter your size as part of the Ambassador Info form.
The Event
Will the TRIBE team join my event?
We'd love to join lots of the events throughout the Summer and hope we can make it to yours!
Is there a maximum number of event participants per event?
No! We'd love you to rally all your friends, family, work colleagues, club members etc - the more the merrier! Just one point to note - we envisage these being relaxed private events for family, friends, colleagues and run clubs etc, rather than public events.
Inevitably there may be slower participants so do look after your whole tribe. The most important thing is that everyone gets to the finish line safe, happy and together for a team celebration!
What’s the best way to share the photos from our event?
We would LOVE to see and share the photos from your events!! If you want us to repost and share your photos, make sure you tag @the_tribe_way @tribefreedomfoundation and use the hashtag #ForceofNatureChallenge.

Who are we fundraising for?
All the entry fees will be donated to the TRIBE Freedom Foundation. This is the charity that was established by the TRIBE community to help end modern slavery in the UK. TRIBE Freedom Foundation works by raising awareness of trafficking and supporting frontline projects to fight modern slavery. We empower the TRIBE community to create an impact.

How will the TRIBE community raise £20,000 for the TRIBE Freedom Foundation?
The more runners you can recruit the better! We also have loads of handy tips to help with setting up fundraising events - raffle, cake sale or quiz etc. NB. Min registration donation is £14 but people are encouraged to donate more!
Participant FAQs
How do I sign up for an event?
The TRIBE Force of Nature Ambassadors will direct you to their bespoke event page with a link to their TRIBE Force of Nature JustGiving page. To register for your chosen event, simply make your registration donation (min £14) to your Ambassador’s JustGiving page.
To make sure that you recieve your TRIBE Force of Nature T-shirt, you just need to tick the box which says ‘yes please, opt me in’ to emails from TRIBE Freedom Foundation. Otherwise, we won’t be able to send out your Force of Nature event entry package :)
What do I get as part of my Force of Nature Event entry?
Your registration donation will enable us to continue our work to fight modern slavery across the UK! You will also recieve:
- Entry to the epic Force of Nature Challenge campaign as part of your Ambassador’s event!
- Two TRIBE bars to fuel your adventure and keep you going throughout your Force of Nature event.
- Classic TRIBE tee (see below on how to claim your tee and choose your size)
- Exclusive TRIBE Force of Nature Finisher online discount voucher!
How will I recieve my TRIBE tee?
Once you’ve made your registration donation on JustGiving you’ll receive an email from us to confirm your entry for the Force of Nature challenge and claim your TRIBE Tee. Just make sure you’ve ticked the box which allows TRIBE Freedom Foundation to contact you by email!. All you need to do is follow the link in the email and choose your size. Once you’ve chosen your size you’ll need to enter your delivery address! Delivery (Royal Mail Tracked) is just £3.00 and will take 2-3 working days.
How will I recieve my TRIBE bars?
On event day the TRIBE Force of Nature Ambassadors will be distributing TRIBE bars for everyone!
Who should I ask if I have a question about an event?
The TRIBE Force of Nature Ambassadors are the best people to contact if you have any questions about their event. They will have the most up to date news on any exact details, timings etc. You can find their email address on their TRIBE Force of Nature event page. If you can’t get through to them you can drop us an email at laragh@wearetribe.co
How will the Ambassadors know that I am registered?
To make things easier for the Ambassadors it’s best to use your full name with your registration donation and also tick the box which says ‘I’m happy to share my contact details with …(your ambassador)’ so they can get in touch to confirm their event details.
Is there an event near me?
If you are keen to get involved but you don’t know anyone who is leading an event near you get in touch with laragh@wearetribe.co. We’d love to support you to set up your own event or we can help to link you up with other Force of Nature events in your area.
